I'm Manish, a Full Stack Software Developer with interest and experience in creating immersive, accessible and performant web applications.

What is this? 📑

I'm currently not actively working on creating my portfolio site. When I do it, I wanna do one that I am really proud of (doesn't necessarily mean super complex or fascinating, just a good one not very much like anyone else's). Till then, I'm using a temporary Obsidian Note and publishing it using Digital Garden (https://dg-docs.ole.dev/) to do the job. I also document stuff I learn as well here. There's still a lot to update in this page as well, but I hope you'll find what you're looking for somewhere here.

Internships and Work Experiences

• Full-Stack Software Development Engineer

• Software Development Intern (Full Stack and Web Graphics)

  • Worked on implementing various features and tools for the primary 3D Visualizer for large scale point clouds and raster annotations.
  • Had hands on experience with multiple tools like React, OpenLayers etc. to add features on top of real world maps on the raster viewer.
  • Worked with various geospatial libraries like Georaster, Geoblaze to process large scale and high precision Cloud Optimized GeoTIFFs.

  • Built a cross-platform portal from scratch using Flutter with 20+ responsive flutter widgets following properly laid design guidelines.

  • Worked with a team of 3+ members implementing an interactive portal showing a user's statistics fetched from GitHub like languages etc.
  • Implemented OAuth with GitHub using Firebase, data extraction with the GitHub API (Octokit) and a responsive UI with React and Redux.
  • Built a REST API using Express with authorization and structured CRUD operations with appropriate documentation and modular code.

• Research Intern

  • Worked with 7+ teams of about 20+ members from 10+ colleges and universities working on complex issues in the field of astrophysics.
  • Built a modern and responsive team website with scroll and particle animations currently live at https://teamcosmicquarks.sserd.org
  • Attended sessions on good practices and frauds in research and collaboratively wrote a 25+ page report using LaTeX in with the team.

  • Worked collaboratively with a team of 4 members to create a Web-3 NFT Marketplace within 2 weeks successfully securing 1st position.
  • Added essential features like Minting, Metamask Integration, Buying / Selling, Profile Rating, Transaction History, with thoughtful UX.
